Hello everyone,
I know this may seem a bit early, but our friends over in France are getting ready for their first game of the season already (21h00 Saturday, HT time). I thought maybe Alf et al would be anxious to share their game ratings with all of us :)

Anyway, this is the thread I will use to lighten my workload of hunting the game ratings for the 91 Hattrick members (!) we have on FOFC.

The only thing you need to post here is your team ratings, as it appears on the right side of your league game report. Only the one for your team, the one for your opponent is irrelevant.

As an example, here's what my post for my team's last league match ratings would look like:

Do a simple copy/paste instead of writing it up.
I need everything from the team name to the "Left Side Attack" rating.
Do not alter it in any way (like deleting the "Player rating and Team formation" line because it doesn't look cute).

This is simply because I use this whole thing just as it is. Your team name is need to add your entry in the ratings database and the it is easier to ask excel to ignore the extra line between your team name and the actual ratings than go and delete it everytime I input a team's ratings...

Also, if you make a mistake (like you realize a few hours later that you posted the wrong week), please PM me or repost your rating. DO NOT EDIT YOUR OLD RATINGS. There's a chance that I've already entered your ratings in the database and I might miss the "edit" mention on posts.

At some point on Monday, once I'll have copied all the posted ratings, I will post in this thread that I am starting to hunt ratings from Hattrick. At that point, it will be too late for you to post your team ratings. Not that big a deal, it's simply that I don't want to wait for some guys that may not log into FOFC until Wednesday for whatever reason. Posting your ratings should not not take a lot of your time (do it right after reading you game report) but it will same me a lot of time. The Monday night deadline should give ample time to a lot of people to post their ratings.

dola, to add that your ratings need to be in english. May be unnecessary to mention, other than for our friends in France and maybe 3ric in Sweden, but my excel spredsheet will burst in flame if it gets to try to decipher ratings in French (even though I curse at it in french more than in english :D )

The rankings will only take league matches into consideration. Cup matches are not used for the calculation of the ratings. Thanks for asking!

Accardo, not to single you out, but please do not edit the ratings in any way. In this case, deleting the line that reads "Player rating and Team formation" between your team name and the actual ratings. It's easier to leave it there or at least leave a blank line, as my excel spreadsheet needs it :) Thanks for posting your ratings though. No need to post them again, I got them to work, no biggie, it's just for next week...

Commentary is absolutely not a problem. To make it easier to get the ratings you can simply leave a blank line before and after the ratings.

In fact, it's nice to get the score of the game at the same time as the ratings...

Ouch, bad week after some outstanding play in my first cup game. A lot of that is due to a couple of players being sold to try and get out of debt. It didnt look at though they were going to be bid on so I left them in the lineup... bad choice. Anyway I lost on the road 6-1.

What's the general take on this. I say we make him part of our rankings, as long as he's a good community member ;) If TP6 posts every once in a while, he should have the right to be on the rankings. Besides, it can only add prestige to our rankings :)

TargetPractice: One thing though, you'll have to post your team information in dacman's Officialish FOFC Hattrick Team List v3.0 (http://dynamic2.gamespy.com/~fof/forums/showthread.php?s=&threadid=6138) for you to be listed in the rankings (see link for the rankings in my signature). I know I can get all of your team's information from Hattrick, but we make everybody do it, it's no different for you. Well you are "kind of" different in a sense that you are two levels above our highest team and scored a rating more than twice my team's highest, but other than that... :)

If anybody really opposes to TP's inclusion in our rankings, please let us know your arguments right here...

McSweeney, thanks for posting your ratings, however you should not edit your team name. Your team is registered as "S. Boston Hooligans" in Hattrick and that's how I have it in my spreadsheet. Not that big a deal, next time, simply copy/paste straight from your game page.

I will now go and get the missing ratings from Hattrick. This shouldn't be too long since I have already started this afternoon. Got maybe a few duplicate teams (ones that posted here and that I have gotten from Hattrick) which isn't a big deal.

Thank you very very much to everyone who posted their game ratings. Good effort, as I got 50 of the almost 90 necessary ratings from here. Way to go guys!!!

I also wanted to say something for next week. If you happen to be watching another FOFCer's match I would encourage you to post his match ratings. I know I followed all the other Canadians in action and I registered their ratings as soon as their games were over... Same thing if you play another FOFCer in your league game. My spreadsheet won't be bothered by multiple posting of one team's ratings, if you are wondering...
