View Full Version : So my arrest is scheduled for this afternoon

It hadn't occurred to me to look here for bail money, but my wife who is quite frequently reading the board now (Which I find a little unsettling, but that is for another post), suggested that you fellows might be willing to help bail me out.

In short, I'm going to be locked up for charity this afternoon. I need to raise $2500 in bail, or I'll never get out of the local bar where I'm going to be held. All proceeds benefit the Muscular Dystrophy Association.

I want to thank those of you who contributed. It is for a good cause, and between the $800 donated online and the dollars I was able to cajole out of my friends over the phone, we raised over $1500 for Muscular Dystrophy. Not quite the goal amount, but they let me leave the bar anyway.
