I have been unable to get this to work. The scout roster is up. When I hit extract I get a "roster window will not display"
I have not gotten a response from the designer or Overlord.
Can someone help me?
Thankyou,
Merry:)

Are you trying to do a draft? And do you mean Extractor?
When trying to run Extractor on a draft class, click the first player on the draft list to open his player report window, then go over to Extractor and hit "Extract".

Well in that case don't move the mouse. After you click the button get up, walk away, go have cup of coffee. And make sure nothing is covering the FOF windows.

Hi,
I went through it again.
Single player \chose league\ import data
There was nothing on top of the screen
I did not move the mouse.
I get: : "Unable to diplasy,(sic), screen. Please contact Overload."
Don't know what to do?
Thanks,
Merry:(

Or maybe he does mean 'draft tracker 2'. :)

Merry, you might want to post some screen shots of exactly what your screen looks like when you're trying to do this, it would make it a lot clearer. For change tracker, you just need to have the "Scout Overview" tab of the Roster screen open and it should work.

Sorry Merry, but that was funny.
Did you make sure that you have the Scout Overview screen open and sorted by position? I know that I had trouble getting it to run right on my machine...
merry

Hi,
It's open and unobstructed but I'm not sure it was sorted by position.
I'll try that.
Thanks,
Merry:)

Without screen shots I'm not sure I can say anything more, it seems like you're doing evrything exactly right...
As is always the case with software glitches it could be that some other software on your machine is causing the problem. Who knows.

A screen shot of your entire screen would be helpful in trying to diagnose your issue.
You should also consider sending Ben E Lou a PM asking him track Overload down. He could add some debugging code that might help ferret out this problem. Don't be discouraged if you do not get a favorable response from Ben. He often shoots down initial PMs just to weed out the guys who aren't serious about this game. Multiple PMs will usually get the response you are looking for from him.
Hope this helps,

I know this is way too fun, but I feel a need to put a stop to it.
Merry, are you using Windows Vista? If so, you need to start both programs FOF and "draft tracker2" using the Run As Administrator setting.

That's good thinkin RKG, I've been trying to help merry with this situation through PM and even though I use Vista myself I completely forgot about that crappy bug. Usually that just stops the program from booting entirely but who knows... Hopefully that'll fix it.

When your tracker screen is up, hit the Print Screen button on your keyboard. It may be abbreviated, like PrtSc or PrntScrn.
Then, go into Paint and click Edit, Paste.
Save the file.
Upload to photobucket or other photo sharing service.
Copy/paste link to photo here. I'd suggest using the IMG link.

Merry,
If you are using Change Tracker:
1. Make sure that you have your "Scout Overview" tab selected under your FOF Roster Window. You know you are at the right screen when it shows your players names, Jersey #, Pos, Current and Future estimate, etc...
2. When you run change tracker, make sure you select the proper location of where your "FrFoot2007.exe" is located.
3. When you go into "Select League" make sure it is the proper league for the particular one you want info from.
4. Once you have that, then you should be able to press the "import data" button and sit and watch, or get some coffee. It should not take long to run.
5. Once it is done, when you "Create a Report", it will bring up a dual window. You only need to highlight the beginning stage on the left side, and the ending stage on the right side, then run the report.
Once the report is done, it saves a file called "tracker_results.csv", which you will need to open in Excel or Open Office, whichever you are using. Remember that each time you run Change Tracker, it will overwrite the previous "tracker_results.csv" file.
If you need any other help, just PM me. Hope it works out.

Hmm...I wonder if it has something to do with the screen resolution.
1680X1050 is my default and it doesn't work
Switched to 1280x800 with no change.
