Two users per team, one is GM strictly, and the other the coach.
Between the two of them, they can decide who does what/has powers, but I thought it'd be an interesting idea.
As opposed to one guy doing everything, splitting the workload up a bit, allowing every aspect of the game to be utilized more in depth...
Just a random idea.
Feel free to shoot it down :P (but be nice)

being coach would kick ass.

Marc and I did that in the GEFL. Worked a treat, we took the worst team in the league and made them champions in 2 years. We were flexible in who did what and when though.

Do you think there'd be enough interest to start a league like that?
Fast paced, at least to start, and see how it works....??

any new league has a lot going against it at this point. saturation + disinterest

I guess just a POC trial of sorts.

So you're looking for 64 interested owners/coaches? Good luck. We have a hard enough time keeping 20 owners in FOWL. I'm not saying this idea is bad, just the execution will be difficult.

Eventually, maybe.
But for now, just a few to see how it works out.
Imagine a 'mega league' where you actually have individual roles within a team.
A GM, Head Coach, OC, DC... Stuff like that.
The league could be (if it's active) pretty exciting!
(Guys getting fired, hired, etc.)

Used to do similar in FPS, though it was more offensive coach/defensive coach. Great idea in theory. Best to try it right after a new version (or at least an update) comes out.
