Great class this year overall, but especially special to me to see Michael Jordan being inducted. I owe that guy most of my happy childhood memories. Greatest of all time.
And his new 'teef' sitting to his left is smoking.

For some reason, I don't care about the Hall of Fame at all anymore. When I was a kid I cared, but now I don't..even a little bit.

This is the first time that I have watched an event like this in years. There obviously was an allure for me with Jordan, but I wanted to see Robinson and Stockton as well. Those were guys I respected an awful lot when they played and I thought there was a pretty good chance of them having something to say as well.
Jordan was not in "media" mode - he dropped a swear word early, and was busting chops for a good part of his speech. I'm guessing that was much more of the guy Bulls teammates saw than the guy doing press conferences from 1985 - 1998 and beyond. It was fun to watch, but a little different than I expected.
Examples - dogging Krause on "organizations win championships" and the HOF for jacking up ticket prices from $200 to $1,000 this year.
Also a very, very funny bit about Bryan Russell at the end.

I still hate Jordan to this day.

That's cool. I still hate Zeke and was trying to figure out why in the world Stockton had that bozo presenting him.

He only became a bozo after retiring. When he was playing, you could hate him (just like Jordan), but you had to respect him.

He was trash as a player too. I remember him refusing to shake the Bulls hands after losing in the playoffs.

RainMaker brings up one reason I hated him during his playing days. There was also his role in the "All Star freeze-out" of Jordan and his agreeing with Rodman on "Bird would be just another player if he was white". Three separate instances of him being just as big an idiot in his 20s and 30s as he would prove to be in his 40s, post-NBA.

I loved that and still do. I'm a Bad Boy through and through. The fact that people still hate them makes me happy. :)
