A lot of People call this the Velocity Diet

I am going to try this one more time. I have cleared everything for October. My 2nd attempt is delayed 1 week as I try to get well from bronchitis.
But, I don't want to spend all that cash on official Velocity Diet supliments so I will rename my diet to the Value'locity Diet. I have a lot of this Diet stuff laying around, so I might as well put it to use before it expires.
My 3 main sources for finding cheap Sups.
1) Slick deals has some great deals posted for protein sups
2) I like bodybuilding.com for their selection and value.
3) Walmart is my last resort for everything else.

I know the V8 Fusion is a No/No, but I feel a little bit more healthy getting some actual fruits and vegetables everyday.
My Whey/Fiber shakes are Benifer and ON Gold standard Whey with 16.9oz of water.
I make myself drink 6 cold 16.9oz of bottle water every day. This does not count anything that I regularly drink throughout the day.
I will post my added workout day food and all the vitamins and pills I am taking every day LAter.

This is a 12 week program with the first 4 weeks being the Velocity Diet. I think I have this timed so I will be entering the New Year at exactly 180lbs. A weight I have not seen since High School.
MY goal is to lose 50lbs in 12 weeks and 30 of those pounds I plan to shed in the first 4 weeks of the program.
Week 0. 230 lbs
Week 1. 218 lbs (-12 lbs total) and (8 lbs net fat loss!)

I take vitamins 4 times a day on Weekdays and 2 times a day on weekends. I have an AM and PM routine that I take everyday and a package of Vitamins I take twice a day during woork.
AM Vitamin Packet. I take this as soon as I get up everyday.

I am going to be honest here. I think you are going about this the wrong way. Nine pounds in two days is an unhealthy amount of weight loss. If you are only getting your nutritional values from protein shakes something is bound to go wrong. I am afraid that even if you do lose weight, it is going to be difficult to keep off.

I am not concearned about this, as the exact same thing happened last time. None of this is real weight, I gain 8-9lbs the day before the diet starts by eating and drinking everything in sight and then I lose that 8-9 lbs a couple of days later. Basically, going in one end and out the other.
Looks great on the scale, but it is all shit weight, none of it actually counts for real weight loss. :)

Slept in again today. Still not 100% well yet, but I think all my energy has returned. I managed to pick up my 3 workouts yesterday after work and will try to do that again today. That is after I get back from the tanning place.
I need to do a better job with all my shakes. Only getting about half the calories I should right now, and I can feal the emptiness in my stomach. I need to do a better job getting to bed on time, so I can start the day right.

I am still running behind and need to complete 3 exercises this morning after I get off work. 2 workouts down this morning and 1 more to go. Hoping to get that last workout in on time some I can go to bed early enough to get up in time to do my elliptical workout and drink my shake before I go to work.
Last workout is done, and I still have 30 minutes before I need to lay down and start getting ready for sleep. An episode of Hogan's Hero and my Fiber/Whey shake and I will be ready for bed.

I managed to stay below 220 for a 2nd day, and I thought after I said goodbye to the 20s yesterday that I would have gained that pound back, but I didn't. I am happy to be holding at 219 for today.
I just found out that I am getting a 3 day weekend starting friday, so I am a little nervous as this is when I totally lost it last time. I need to bunker up this weekend and stay close to home and away from those Safeway Donuts!
I slept in again today, eventhough I went to bed early yesterday. So, now after work I have 3 exercises to do, I need to get to the tanning place, got to get my haircut, and I need to do a couple of loads of laundy today. That should keep me busy and out of trouble for 1 day this weekend anyway.
I almost lost it 30 minutes ago. I had just finished up having my after work meal of a Protein bar and 2 bottles of water, and my then mind just started wondering, and I was actually trying to convince myself that I deserved to have my big meal right now; since my work week was over. I opened the cabinet and started reaching for my bread, when instead I pulled out my Jar of peanut butter and quickly got a teaspoon and downed a teaspoon of peanut butter instead. I read about the teaspoon of peanut butter over at t-nation for this diet, and I must tell you it actually works. I have been breaking down and having this 1 teaspoon about once a day when my cravings get bad. I don't know what it is about having a mouth full of peanut butter, but it really helps. It seems to have just enough of a taste of real food to have me close the cabinet and walk away.
Still have my 90 minute weight workout before hitting the sack today.
I am tired, exhausted, and extremely sore, and I can't wait to take a long shower and go to sleep.

You're having trouble getting up in the morning because you're emaciated. You can take in more than 1600 calories a day to lose weight. Your better off eating 5 or 6 small meals a day than not eating at all. Your metabolism will slow to a crawl this way.
I'm your age and I weigh 225, 5'10. Definitely have a belly, but I lift weights 5 or 6 times a week. Just can't lay off of beer instead of food. But up until I was in my mid 30's I was always in good shape and still weighed 220ish.
Once you get lazy at our age, it takes a lot longer to get it back. But you really should start upping your exercise time and eat more food. You're not trying to build muscle mass, so screw the supplements and eat some food.

Sunday is my day off, or catch up day. I had a lot of family activities yesterday, so I missed 2 exercises.
The family will be going out to Red Robin today, so I will be having a very BAD meal today for my weekly meal. :)
I can't believe I went from 23.6% body fat to 21.1% in a week. Actually, I could say I went from 24% to 21.1% in 6 days, because after that first day, when I lost those 6 lbs, I checked my bodyfat and it actually incresed to 24%.

I am not worried about my oversleeping right now, as I think that is my body still trying to recover from bronchitis. Everything should go back to normal this week.
I am also not worried about my metabolism slowing down with my 3 seperate workouts per day. By spacing my workouts throughout the day I am jump starting my metabolism about every 8 hours. As soon as I get up I am immediately getting on the elliptical or stair climber, then as soon as I get home from work it is one of the wii workouts, and then before going to bed I get in either a long Gym workout or a quick Ab workout.
My aerobic activity, elliptical, stair climber, Wii will gradually increase over time. I am using a book called "Run away from fat" that has a 90 day program to increase your running time from 10 minutes to 40 minutes.

It's your diet, knock yourself out. But the amount of times you exercise in a day wont do anything for your metabolism without food. You could lose the weight in a much faster and much healthier fashion. You also would burn more calories if you combined the three short stints into one longer session. In all honesty, this is the weirdest diet/exercise program I've ever seen and I've been working out for 20 years.
Not trying to be negative, I hope it works for you. Committing to it mentally is more important than the method. Just seems really unhealthy to me. Supplements are meant to be taken with food, not as a replacement.
While some of these insane diets like Atkins work for people, the long term consequences far outweigh the short term gain.

100% agree with you there. That is why the Velocity Diet is a 4 week diet. Not some kind of long term lifestyle change. I am using the velocity diet to jump start my 12 week program.

Ok, so yesterdays meal turned into a 3 or 4 eating session as I watched the Steelers and the Cowboys game. End result was that I gained 2 pounds from Sundays early weigh in, until Mondays late night weight check. I was actually very surprised that I only gained 2 pounds.

I think I have decided to give myself 1 free day a week, and stay on this diet for the other 6 days roughly. I am going to keep the calories the same even though my weight is decreasing. My free day plan is to get my scale out of the closet Sunday morning at 12:01 AM do my weight check and then spend the next 24 hours eating freely. This is more of the type of diets that I am used to getting an entire day to eat, drink and be merry. :)

Her we go for another week. I really enjoyed my free day of eating, although I did spend a lot of time this weekend working out trying to get caught back up on all my exercises.
Well, I ran out of my Myoplex Bars and they are no longer making the 31 grams of protein bars anymore. I am going to switch to the MetRx 31 gram bars starting this week. The good news is, I can get the bars for $1.00 after a buy 1 get 1 free coupon I bought off ebay.

I had to work an extra day this week, so right now I am at work on a Saturday night. I will be rolling my official weigh in back 24hrs. I have to admit I am feeling good and looking forward to getting my scale out of the closet later tonight. I really only had one bad meal this week where I went nuts, so a clean week and an extra 24hrs has me hoping for another 5 pound weight loss. I am hoping I can pick up another 2 pounds this week on my overall goal of 180 lbs by New Years.
So, when I get off work this morning I have 3 workouts and a tanning session to get in before I can go to sleep this afternoon.

Well I thought I would have lost more weight this week, but maybe that bad meal I had during the middle of the week killed me. I am glad to be below 20% bodyfat again. My muscles do seem to look fuller, so maybe all these workouts are working

Quick Thanksgiving Day update. I ate my ass off yesterday and then decided at around 8PM to begin a 24 hr fast. Right now I am 10 hours into my fast.
I don't even want to think about the scale right now. It is going to stay locked in the closet for a while.
I need to get this 12 week program back on track, so I am going to start another 28 day STRICT velocity diet inside my 12 week program again. I need to get caught up on the workouts, so I am going to concentrate on getting my workouts done before post the next days schedule here. Like right now I am not going to post anything for Wed, Thurs, or Friday until I have caught up to those days workout wise. This will be a little cheat for my next weigh in.
Still aiming for 180 lbs by New Years, but I am going to really have to get it together if I am going to hit that goal. I am going to need every trick I can think of to do it.

I am going to finish out the year on the Velocity Diet. I was very surprised to see the scale only show 215 lbs. I was expectin 220+. I have some Ultimate Nutrition Hoodia coming in on friday. I have never tried it, but it was on sale at Cheap Whey for 79% off, so i am going to give it a whirl and see if it can help me with my binge meals.
