I would like him brought in alive so that he can continue to watch his entire world collapse underneath his feet. This would drive him even crazier than he already is. It would also show the other no good nicks of the world what we do with people like him over a longer period of time instead of just dead and forgotten too soon.

I think capturing him and having him found guilty of crimes against humanity (or whatever) by an international, "impartial" court would be the best possible outcome for the US in terms of international reaction.

I don't know if that is what is best for the interests of the US or if it is very likely at all to happen though.

The international community already knows that Saddam is a lunatic who kills his own people and squanders away the riches of his nation for his own personal use.

We don't need a trial for that.

Plus, with the support that France, Germany, Russia, and China have given to Saddam Hussein, it would be that much more embarrassing for them for us to have the "international community" prove how horrific he was (again).

I don't know why I care if France, Germany, Russia, and China save face, but I guess I would prefer they are not embarrassed any more than they already have been.
