Please help! FOF/TCY

I have both games on my computer. I have ran both of these games before and just recently bought them again. The demos run fine but the games have been installed and wont run. I am the administrator so I shouldnt have to run as administrator but i have done that as well.

Could there be something preventing the games from running (eg. firewall, program blocker or something)? I have contacted support but I have not got a response back. Thank you for your help.

A little more info would allow someone to better help...First what version of windows are you running?

yes i have. As I have stated in the first post that i have done what it says about running as an administrator, but nothing happens. So what i was wondering would there be anything on the computer (security) that would keep it from running. It is installed but wont run even after the steps were taken from that thread.

If you've done everything in that thread regarding Vista, then I've got nothing for ya. I've been running FOF on Vista for 2 years or so and the "run as admin" problem is the only issue I ever had. But I did have to do BOTH item 1 and 2 for it to run correctly.

yeah it has to be some sort of security setting that is on this laptop that i can not figure out how to shut off or allow it to run this program. Its frustrating. I went under properties of the game and it allows me to run it under an older version of windows but it is saying that it can not get license for the game and try to run later or something like that. I dont know if having the cd will be different but i should have it in a few days.

Be sure to chime in and say what the fix is, when you get it. It would be nice for future reference. Since it says that cannot get a license, have you tried contacting elicense? They are very responsive.
