Hockey Sim

I've been looking for a FOF-like sim for hockey. Has anyone found anything similar for the hockey world? Been loving FOF, but looking for something else to augment to pass the time.

I'd second, third and fourth EHM. Fantastic game. Also a great online community making updated rosters and the like.

EHM is great although the last version had a salary cap bug that wreaked all sorts of havoc with the gameplay.

The newer roster sets seem to have done a good job at eliminating (or reducing) this. Using the Lidas roster sets I haven't run into those issues in a very long time.

Which has been nice because yes, it was a pretty big issue. I had totally forgotten about it until you brought it up because of using the community based stuff that's been released since.

I wish there was a FastBreakBasketball-esque sim for Hockey...all of the games listed are solid efforts, but it will take you 5+ hours to finish one season. Anyone remember the ridiculously simple "Hockey Sim" shareware game. HAd some fun with that, can't find it anywhere now though...

I use the saved-game editor that allows the salary cap to be changed each season. Just be sure to back up your game first.
