just found this one and after having much fun with Defense Grid: The Awakening, I though I'd share with you:
The Official Super Hero Squad Site | Play Games Featuring The Super Hero Squad! | Stark Tower Defense (http://superherosquad.marvel.com/games/stark_tower_defense)
Basic tower defense game with Marvel superheros as towers... :)

Well that was fun. I beat the normal mode, I'll have to go back and try the difficult one.

Same here. Didn't expect to play it all the way through... but once i was 2/3 of the way there i couldn't stop myself.

I made it through, a nice quick fun game. Just over 1.4mil points. I am sure I could do better, as I had some problems early, but didn't allow any through after about halfway through.

I enjoyed it- beat it on regular, too. Tho, I definitely could have done better now that I understand how that parts work together better.

beat it on the "epic" setting tonight with a hair over 1.3M points. hadn't set myself quite well to some of the planes in the middle of the waves and let quite a few go through. Held on from wave 12 to 28 without letting one through, then a couple and I only had one red block left but held on to finish it. Fun little game.

Played this with my 11 y.o. last night. I'm not a big fan of browser games, but this one was a hoot, and my son absolutely loved it.
Thanks for facilitating our quality time. :)

that's quite cool, very glad you had fun with it. My 12yo son and I have played, or bonded over some simple things like browser games. He saw me playing some of them games on Facebook and asked me if he could get his own account so he could play them too. We set one up and I monitor who he becomes friend with and I've also talked to him about the "dangers" of the internet. It's a lot of fun to talk about these games with him, especially when he comes and tells me about the little things he got on silly Farmville or other same type game. :)

It is very cool. I've come to realize that my kids and I have the same relationship vis-a-vis video games that my father and I had through television (i.e., just like the A-Team was appointment viewing for us, and something we'd endlessly discuss, my kids and I bond over Oblivion, Dragon Age, Fallout, etc. and the shared experience of those worlds -- with so many satellite channels these days, I'm partially convinced that video games are the shared culture medium of this generation of kids, and I want them to know and flourish in that environment.)
