With that link I get "An error occured attempting to install FOF 2007"
I click on Details:
See the setup log file located at 'C:\Users\Owner\AppData\Local\Temp\VSD38C8.tmp\install.log' for more information.
This uis the message:

Did you uninstall the old version first?

Did the uninstall The re-installed. I get this message "FOF 2007, version 6.3b has stopped working"
Under it says:
"A problem caused the program to stop working correctly. Windows will cloise the program and notify you if a solution is available."
Also, on the re-install, there is no solecismic folder in the Appdata/roaming folder.

I recently installed an anti-bad stuff program. From Charter. Could this be the culprit? What should I do?

What does support e-mail "fsiled" mean? Because support is the route I'd go with this.

your error code is related to "Another version of this product is already installed."
which means to deinstall went wrong, check that the product is not on the list anymore.
eventually delete (or move them somewhere else) the remaining files and try again.
last option will be to check if there are still some entries in the registry

Actually, the email recipient I dealt with was at this email: support AT elicense DOT com
I got a link to their help page, filled out a form and then they emailed me back in a day.

It took you almost a week, but you found a way to successfully troll a post of mine.
Congrats to you, please don't get too drunk in celebration.

LMAO, you definately over estimate your importance if you think it has anything to do with you personally.
