The only thing I can think of is maybe I'm tripping some sort of post length limit, which is odd because I've never had to split posts on FOFC before.

If that were the case, I think it would be telling you that when you tried to post, not stripping out the entire post.

Heck, that it lets you post anything blank is just weird.

I have this problem a ton when I post up spreadsheets or way too much data. I bet you are triggering a post length issue. This happens to me often and it looks exactly like this (a blank post).

Split your post in half and see if it works.
