What's even funnier is that the primary was actually last night.

I guess people liked the gold fringed flag after all.

HAHA! I'm sure Basil is hunkered down in his campaign headquarters refining his strategy for the next elections.

That's 0.048% of the vote.

Just for a fun comparison, that's a higher percentage than anyone other than Obama & McCain got in the state back in '08. I'm guessing that's a sign that TN is not fertile ground for a third-party movement ;)

Ok, now you're just taking things too far (being precise) with the percentage. ;)

Doesn't sound like that state is, but, with brave men like Basil, that tide may turn.

0.048% is very different from 0.5%

I had to drill down that far, otherwise my stat about the 3rd parties didn't work quite as comfortably (He got 0.048, Nader drew 0.044).
Since this is me, someone would have called me on the discrepancy ;)

Actually, he got 0.48%, not 0.048%.

Where's the thread for posts that make math teachers weep?

I've had a dead internet connection for most of the day, after that was restored I fought with a balky USB cable, had a power outage thanks to a thunderstorm, and dealt with a XBox-Live deprived 12 year old all day.

If you're gonna hold a typo against me after that, well, I just don't know if that's reasonable.

I was happy to see Ramsey didn't win as well. Not a big fan of the NE TN neocon movement.
