I upgraded but haven't activated ping yet because I'm trying to decide if it'll just be one more music profile I don't use. I was annoyed when Microsoft created the Zune Social, so Apple doing this seems belated and really...well...annoying. But I'm sure it'll work for them, because of their devoted fanbase. At least I can scrobble to last.fm with iTunes, Microsoft still doesn't allow it, so you have to use backdoor 3rd party apps to do it.

I was going to last night but I completely forgot about it. I really don't see myself taking advantage of it at all -- I don't spend much time on iTunes (I sync maybe once very month or two to my iphone and that's it). It needs a web-based interface.
