On another board, someone already embarrassed themselves by saying everyone should listen to Owner of a Lonely Heart today.

90125? Why's that? That a zipcode to somewhere else? Hollywood or something?

Oh okay - wikipedia tells me 90125 is the 11th album by some progressive rock band named "Yes."
Never heard of them *shrug*
But then again I don't really listen to much music anymore.

Not a zip code (well, it might be, but that doesn't matter for this). 90125 was the name of the Yes album with Owner of a Lonely Heart, Hold On, Leave It, and It Can Happen. Big hits back in 1983 or 84. Anyway, someone thought the album was called 90210. In reality, it wasn't even named for a zip code, but the catalog number for the album.

My stepdad would always get mixed up and call it Beverly Hills, 90125. I don't know why he ever would have been talking about it, though.

I hate to break it to you, but Yes is not a particularly popular band anymore.

Nope. Emphatically nope. But then again if they were big in 83-84 i was what...4-5 years old?

They were commercially popular then. Reformulated their sound from a 70s prog band. Surely you've accidentally walked into a room/car and heard a few of their popular songs, even if you don't realize it.

You were most likely distracted by that car you accidentally walked into knocking you over.

Doubtful. I don't really walk into many rooms/cars. Never really have. Not a big fan of going out to clubs/bars/parties, so I'm not exposed to a lot of music that I'm not in control of. And I've for sure never heard them. Doesn't ring a bell as anything I've heard on my radio either.
You could be right, but I really doubt it.
