Who has tried the Priority Inbox?

I like it so far. It seems to work well. However, I still have to go through "Everything else" at some point, so I don't know if it's really helping me a lot. We'll see in a month when I've let my inbox get out of hand as I always do and there are 300 emails that are unread. :)

I'm trying it. It's ok. I dislike though when I have Gmail up with a number of tabs, I can't see if someone has hit the inbox as I could when just regular inbox was selected (the tab would say inbox (3) or something).

I realize part of the Priority Inbox is to prevent clutter based on that, but I'd still like to know if I have email waiting, even if it is deemed "unimportant".

I switched over to GMail a couple of years ago. I was diligent and set up 20-30 different labels. But recently, I've either gotten more lazy, or am just satisfied with the Search functionality to the point that I am questioning whether I want to continue to label all my EMails. I could just archive them into my All Mail "folder" and then do searches to find. Do you other GMail users still find the label functionality useful?

I just use the search function, it's so quick to just type in what I'm looking for.

I have 18,000 emails in my gmail. No labels. Goes back about five years.
