I think there is a compliment in there somewhere. Wonder how many sales this will generate for Jim.

Video Game Review - Madden and Quick Hit N.F.L. Games - NYTimes.com (http://www.nytimes.com/2010/09/11/arts/television/11madden.html)

A company called Solecismic Software makes an ultra-detailed PC football simulator called Front Office Football, and I have played it with no small satisfaction in years past. But it is for complete football nerds only: it does not include real N.F.L. teams or players, is almost entirely text-based and can be at least as impenetrable in its own way as Madden has been in its.

Crazy, we should all feel an odd sense of pride.

Is Jim going to write asking for a correction or will one of us have to? FOF most certainly does have real players now.

I was thinking that. I think they'd just say it doesn't have the NFL license. But I took Marc's advice and clicked on the link to email him.

I've already emailed the author indicating this - however I would recommend that everyone else reading this thread does the same.

The more emails on that subject the writer recieves the more seriously he'll take things and the more likely he'll be to mention FOF in the future (and thus the more likely Jim will sell copies and give everyone an updated version at some point :D).

Dude, a toolbag is a very useful thing to have. It's a bag full of tools.

It reminds of when I was a kid, during the 86 series and Lenny Dykstra (I think?) was talking about playing Strat. Oh, how I loved my Strat-O-Matic.
