Can't get FOF to run anymore

MY FOF started hanging during load, so I blew the old away and tried to reinstall. Now, no matter what I do, I get the following error message:

Front Office Football 2007, Version 6.3b has encountered a problem and needs to close. We are sorry for the inconvenience.

I have tried to install it in different users, different security levels, and cannot get the game to run. has anyone seen this before?

With the season starting, I wanted to start up FOF again too. I also am running into that problem. Haven't found a solution yet. Any ideas??

Running any antivirus software while installing?

Yeah, running an anti-virus program. Will that affect the install?

Tried with turning off anti-virus, and firewall, and still run into same error message. Do I have to purchase the game again?

Try running in xp compatible mode and run it as an administrator (all in the properties tab) otherwise it could be a registry issue if you have uninstalled the game....try restarting after you uninstall then reinstall. Windows keeps game files hidden in the user folder too but hey try all that and see how you go first

I ended up wiping the computer clean. (I think the kids need their own computer). now I am having licensing issues. If it is not one thing it is another.
