The Seattle faithful sure do pack the supposedly substandard Key Arena for post-season games. The Storm go 20-0 for regular season and post-season and need one more game to claim the title.

Seattle is simply too good at home for the Dream. Atlanta has made a remarkable run considering the record-setting depths of their beginning but anything more than one win in this series seems like a miracle to me.

Agreed. I was really surprised to see Atlanta torch Washington how they did and then to see them get past New York. Lauren Jackson and Sue Bird on the same team is pretty insane.

It was a great coaching move, to change up the lineup to go small & push tempo, worked to perfection against the rest of the East. I'm not sure there's anything they can do to overcome Seattle multiple times however, and if Angel insists on jacking up jumpers rather than penetrating, I know there's no chance.

Angel McCoughtry is nasty but when she gets in foul trouble, as she did in game one, Atlanta doesn't stand a chance.

I was walking around the Seattle Center area this weekend and a city info employee lady tried to talk me into going to the game there. I would have if I had the time. But damn - the Sonics really were 3rd-class citizens in Seattle, what an awful stadium and location. After checking out Qwest and Safeco early in the day, I could definitely understand why they wanted to skip town.

WNBA draft today from ESPN studios. I guess why bother trying to fill a room and at least they stopped that doing it immediately after the NCAA tournament thing. That was a head spinner.

Anyway, I'd never heard of the 2nd overall pick before because she's a 6'8" Australian player who is just 19. Her name is Elizabeth Cambage (Cam-beige).

Maya Moore went #1 to Minnesota, another UConn player dispatched to revive a dormant club.

Nice trade for Atlanta immediately after the draft. They package their 1st from today TaShia Phillips, veteran G Kelly Miller and next year's 1st to Washington for all-star G Lyndsey Harding (who was going to be a free agent).

Over the weekend Washington had dealt their 1st rounder next year to Detroit for all-star F/C Nicky Anosike.

In the past month or so, Griner supposedly smashes her girlfriend/fiance in the head(Glory Johnson who plays), draws a 7 game suspension for both of them. Then they get married. Then Johnson announces she's pregnant. And then Griner files for an annulment and yet no thread FOFC. No wonder this place sucks.

Imagine the coverage if that was an NBA story.

It'd be amazing just for the press around Harden's pregnancy.

It's WNBA, no one cares.

The story is indeed nuts and yeah if this was a male/female relationship, people would be talking about it more. In fact, the fact that they are at all isn't the kind of press the WNBA wants.

All Star game is tomorrow. I remember the one last year was pretty entertaining. I'm hearing great things about Delle Donne.

Also Griner is alleging that her fiance was still sleeping with a man.
