How do you hide spoiler text?

I thought I knew how, but I'm not seeing it. For some reason I thought there was a selection for it. Like a quote.

Then again I've got this dim memory that you need to use the "code" button.

you do [ spoiler ] and [ /spoiler ] without the spaces before and after the words

use (spoiler) and (/spoiler) replacing the parentheses with brackets
