Dying Girl, 7, Taunted by Neighbors in Trenton

TRENTON, Mich. - Her family says 7-year-old Kathleen Edward is in the final stages of a degenerative brain disorder diagnosed as Huntington's Disease - the same disease which killed her mother, Laura, when she was only 24.

A neighbor who is feuding with the family admitted to posting grim depictions of Laura and Kathleen on Facebook, and also has a coffin hitched to a pick-up truck in front of the house - which the neighbor says is for a halloween decoration.

One photo depicts Laura in the arms of the grim reaper, while the other features Kathleen's face above a set of crossbones.

Police responded to the public feud Thursday, but no arrests were made.

A rally for Kathleen Edward has been planned for Saturday, Oct. 23 from 3 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. at Haas Park in Trenton.

The invitation reads: She has been tormented by sadistic neighbors. Please come and join us in showing Kathleen there are good people that care.

While I totally agree that "the internet makes people worse for some reason", I don't think this has anything to do with what's going on here. These are neighbors. They live on the same street. They are openly, face-to-face, being evil douchebags. They are just using the internet as one way, of many, to harrass these people.

If you watch the video, the neighbor admits her behavior and does not express any regret. It is clear that she is posting the images to tease the other family about the impending death of the seven year old girl and the prior death of the mom.

I don't know the nature of the dispute that gave rise to this behavior, but I can say that teasing someone about the impending death of a seven year old girl seems pretty unique and taboo. It feels criminal.

The husband did the apology, but the wife is the one who said she did it to "rub her neighbors ass raw" and when told that it was sick said "take it or leave it" with a shitty smile. I know it is juvenile, but I hopes this cunt is "taking it" from 4chan and all the other internet crazies for a long time. I just want to smash her face.
