Not sure if folks remember, but one of the reasons my old job in Italy went away was because our new CEO, who previously worked at CA, was indicted for securities fraud for actions performed while he was the worldwide director of sales at CA. He ended up pleading guilty, and was given a 7 year sentence. He started his sentence in Jan. 07.
A few weeks ago, his lawyers won a partial appeal, and his sentence was vacated, and sent back to the trial judge for re-sentencing. His lawyers were asking for two years to be cut. The judge ended up reducing the sentence to time served (44 months). Since he is a native of New Zealand, he will be transferred to ICE, and be deported within the next three months.
