Newb question on running multiple MP leagues

I'm in a fiction league (OSFL) and am starting up another league (non fictional teams). Despite uploading the league files to the league folder, I can only see the fictional teams in-game.

Since a lot of you are in multiple FOF leagues, incl multiple fictional ones, I thought I'd ask everyone how it's done, if there's some trick I'm missing.

I think a batch file is the answer .. or, at least used to be. Anyway, here is a link that should get you started.

Another option (if you have the cpu space) is to just re-install the game in a different directory - have 1 game for 1 league, 1 for another. etc.

Ah, I was rather afraid it would mean manual overwriting. Good call on the batch files, at least that speeds things up. Thanks!

never thought about this.
How do you set up the app data file locations?
I have a guy in one of my leagues that simply cannot get the batch files to work. This might be a really good workaround for him.

Hm, not sure how the game data folder would work in that case, but that would be very unnecessary. You'd have to click two different shortcuts to run each league. In which case the batch files are faster and more guaranteed to work.

Each batch file should copy over images and the fcy and fni files in the universe folder with the appropriate ones for that specific league, as well as the images in to the images folder, and then launch the FrFoot2007.exe that sits in the install folder of FOF. Create a shortcut for each batch file you make. Put these shortcuts in some folder, doesn't matter a whole lot where. Open up Environment Variables (right click My Computer, go to Properties) - or look up where this is for your version of Windows - and add the folder where those shortcuts are thinking to the one called 'Path'.

From now on you can run those shortcuts (and consequently, each league you are in) by going to Run (Windows + R), typing in the name of the shortcut, and pressing enter. For me, I hit Win+R, type in 'osf' to run FOF for my OSFL team, and 'cfl' to run it for my CFL team. I also added the game data folder as a shortcut to the same folder so typing in 'fof07' brings up that folder for quick importing of sim uploads (since it sits in such a bizarre location).

Just some time saving things I've worked out to speed up my MP play, thought I'd share :)
