Is there an alternative to change tracker?

I am a noob with an XP setup and I still can't get change tracker to see my leagues, even after consulting the reference thread.
I downloaded change tracker 2 from the link in the reference thread. I tried putting the exe into the c:/documents and settings/user/application data/Solecismic Software/Front Office Football 2007 as directed. After this didn't work, I copied the rest of the contents of the game directory into this folder; still no dice. I tried pointing change tracker to both exe's, and putting the change tracker exe itself into both folders. Nothing works. :confused:

I had the demo for the game but recently uninstalled it. Could this be a problem?

If I can't get change tracker to work, are there any alternative methods or programs that could work in its place?

I could not get away with Change Tracker either so I track Salary Cap/Strength changes etc on Excel spreadsheets.

The easiest way I could think of is printing the roster to a text file, copying that text file into a spread sheet, and doing it that way.
