Not sport stars or other really famous people, but more everyday-type guys that led an extraordinary life or did something amazing.
Iīm actually in the midst of a project thatīs dealing with just this (presenting biographic books on non-celebrities) and would like to include a couple more than iīve come up with so far, so i was wondering what were stories/biographies that got you when you heard about them ?
But i also thought this would be an interesting topic regardless :)
Example of what type of story iīm looking for : Dan Eldon - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dan_Eldon)
I am a guy thatīs pretty active, going travelling and doing community work (like coaching youth soccer or volunteering at a youth center in town), but then i read sth like that and itīs just unbelievable what that guy did at such a young age. And of course the ending is just stupidly tragic ...
The journals and the biographic book (The Art Of Life) are truly a great read.
