This isn't a huge problem, just annoying.
We use secured printing in Excel2007, since we are dealing with some sensitive data.
Having a really weird occurance today involving this.
I have a set of files from last year that I am updating to use this year, and saving as new files. I printed a few, went to the printer...and none of my jobs were pending.
Tried again...same thing.
So, tried a random page. Worked fine- waiting in the cue for my passcode.
After some digging, I found the problem. The files I am trying to print, eventhough I have resaved with updated named (2010 rather than 2009), are retaining the original creators name/passcode.
I tried opening documents created by other people, and viewing under print options, the username/passcode is updated to mine, since I am opening/printing from my machine.
But, the other set of files, nothing. Two other people opened the files, and same for them, it retains the original creators data.
I can manually change each file as I print it but my problem there is 1) If the next time these are printed, someone else does this, will they have the same problem with it retaining my (or again, original creators) data and 2) I am really lazy, and don't want to change each file (about 40) to print them. :p
Any suggestions?
