Indiana Jones: Move 3 higher than 1, and move 2 down to the bottom.
Matrix: There were no sequels.
Star Trek: 3 needs to go wayyyyyy further down.
X-Men: 3 can come a little higher, it wasn't THAT bad.
LotR: From personal tastes, I'd put 2 a smidge higher than the others.
Back to the Future: 3 needs to be much higher than 2.
Die Hard: Move 3 down, put 2 on equal footing with 1.
Godfather: 1 and 2 are equally as awesome.
The rest are good enough.

I'd probably zero out the last two Matrix movies, but overall I cannot argue with those too much.

I'm guessing the image is blocked by some places. I don't see it either.

I must be one that didn't mind Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. Not as good as 3, but at least midway.
First Jurassic Park should be higher. The others are too high!
All the Lord of the Rings are too low, 2 should be the highest.
I agree about Xmen 3, it should be halfway. It was a half decent movie.

Most are fine, though several of these by rights aren't trilogies anymore (and should be thrown out)
Godfather 3 gets crapped on a lot but it's not /that/ bad.

Matrix - 2 and 3 should be negative
Spider Man - move them all up a bit
Mad Max - move 1 down
Back to the future - Move 2 and 3 down
Terminator - move 3 up and 1 down
rest are fine - didn't even realise 'planet of the apes' had sequels tbh ...

God, it had like 5 or so. And they were increasingly low-budget and AWFUL.

Indy #2 needs to be moved down. I didn't like it very much when it first came out and it hasn't improved over the years. (still take it over #4 though).
I'd move Rambo 2 up a bit, LOTR 2 up and all the Superman ones down although, that is more because of my hatred of the Superman franchise so, I'm biased.
And trilogy meters that don't have The Evil Dead trilogy in it is lacking.

Star Trek 3 should be much lower.
Temple of Doom is nowhere close to Last Crusade.
First Jurassic Park should be higher.
Back to the Future 3 should be higher than 2.
Rocky 3 lower

Here's my take from the other thread:
Indiana Jones 2 is way too high.
Spiderman 2 is too high, Spiderman 1 is too low.
Terminator 3 is too low. I thought it was OK.
And my defense of Spiderman 2 going down:
There were two scenes that brought the movie down for me. I agree that overall, it was a good super hero movie.
Scene 1: The camera view being that of Doc Ock's tentacles. It looked so cheesy. Like some B-Horror movie.
Scene 2: Spiderman without the mask on that train, being passed around by the people on the train. And then the little girl says "Don't worry Spiderman, we won't tell anyone who you are." Just a stupid, cheesy scene that ruined part of the movie for me.

Is that Jaws 3 the one with Gossett Jr.? Not only was that a terrible sequel and rated too high here, it was one of the worst movies of all time.

I actually think Lost World is underrated and is better than the original in many ways. Many of the action scenes are much better and they excised the awful Sam Neil (the most unconvincing Paleontologist ever) in favor of Jeff Goldblum, adding Julianne Moore and Vince Vaughn. I hated the stupid nonsense witht he girl kicking the raptor, but thought it was no worse than the nonsense storyline where Sam Neil had to learn to like kids while protecting them from dinosaurs so he would be ready to have one with Laura Dern.
Back to the Future 3 should be much higher than 2.
I agree that Spiderman 2 was best, but the first one was good too and should be a bit higher.
The rest look good, except I'd have the first Terminator a little higher and all three LOTR's higher with 2 as the highest.

At the risk of angering many, I've always felt Godfather III gets shortchanged. Don't get me wrong, it's not even half as good as the other two but was it really that bad? Or, is it because of the two movies that came before it make it seem so bad?

Not only did it have LGJr, it also had Dennis Quaid AND it was in 3D.
This meter is impossible to calibrate as everyones idea of how good or bad a movie is, is well, subjective.

The biggest issue that critics have is Sofia Coppola just destroying every scene she's in, but even so, the story is compelling. I do believe the movie got some Oscar nods.

Well it's better than Jaws 4, which involves a shark roaring like a dinosaur. And Michael Caine.

Jaws 4 is hilarious. Ellen Brody's son is killed by a shark and is convinced that it was for revenge. Yes, the shark that had been blown up three times. So she's now freaked out and decided to move in with her other son, who lives in... the Bahamas. I would've moved her ass to Kansas.

That is awesome. Jaws 4: The Plot holes just got juicier! No kidding. I wouldn't even move next to one of the Great Lakes.

I think I did this with the Blade series. Amazingly, nothing was really out of sync to me.
So after you watched it, were you:
A. "Man I need to see the first 3 now"
B. "No way I'm seeing the others after watching this"
C. "The first can't be this bad, so I'll just watch that one"
D. "None of the above"

I was probably about 8 and thought it was fucking awesome that the shark roared like a dinosaur and bit people arms off. Didn't even consider the fact that there were other Jaws movies.
So D:.

That's cool. I'm sure there's plenty of movies like that, that we saw as kids and if we saw them now, we would be hard pressed to figure out why we like them.

Spiderman 1 is a little too low
Lord of the Rings are all a little too low
