So my wife calls me after she's done her shift at work this afternoon to tell me that somebody stole the windshield wipers off of her car. Huh?
What the hell is wrong with people today?

In -30 degree weather it takes a special kind of douche to take the time to remove the wipers properly without destroying the wiper arms which is what I would expect punk kids to do.
Jokes on them...the blades needed replacing.

Well, it's bad enough that it bled through two pairs of gloves during the 2 hours of snow shoveling I just finished doing. :(

I've had my antenna taken off my car while it was parked at a mall parking lot (I drive a Mazda 3, the antenna unscrews).

Several years ago someone broke into my car and stole my radar detector out of my glove box. Joke was on them, it had been broken for weeks, I just forgot take it out of the box and throw it out.

I can't seem to find a quality set of wipers. I get the nice kind, and a week later they leave streaks, usually at the exact level of my eyes while I'm driving. It's been like this my entire life. Maybe I should look into ripping other people's wipers off...I hear Canadian's are great targets.

C'mon now...the only time I've ever been to California was about 5 years ago for training in San Jose. There was frost on my rental car every morning and do you think they had a windshield scraper in the vehicle?! Pffft...

I don't think they even sell those here. :)

When I was in high school someone broke into my car and stole my boombox. Joke was on them though, since boomboxes are now obsolete.

Honestly, I didn't even know what a windshield scraper was until 6 years ago. My wife and I flew from New Orleans to Pennsylvania for her job interview in February 2005, and we stayed at a hotel here during the trip. When we checked into the hotel, they offered us a complimentary windshield scraper, but they didn't tell us what it was. I just took it because HEY FREE STUFF, but when we went outside to the rental car the next morning, I started panicking. There was frost all over the windshield, and I didn't know how I'd be able to see where I was going. My wife asked me to use the scraper, and I had no idea what she was talking about. That's when she told me what the free item from the hotel was. I had no clue.
You should've seen me trying to use the thing. I probably looked like a 6-year-old trying to work a Victrola.

one year my mom got me this silly thing for the car that made sound effects. it mounted on the dashboard and looked kind of like a radar detector. maybe took a month for that to get stolen. suckers.

Someone stole my brothers radio antenna off his car (how much can you really get for this?). I've had my collection of 8 burned CDs sitting loosely in my passenger seat stolen before (but they missed the disc in the player!). It's kind of ridiculous what people will steal. I'm thinking of employing some sort of incendiary car alarm device in the future.

When I was moving to California from Texas, someone stole the gas cap off of the moving truck. At least they were nice enough to leave a halved frozen orange juice can in its place.
