Another story tha really gets under my skin. This lady is thinking about suing? Are you kidding me?

She says that nobody came to help her. Look at the tape, she fell and was up and on her way in a matter of a couple seconds. When exactly is there time for someone to come to help her?

I get that she's upset about it beig a viral video now but this sure isn't going to help her any. Instead of riding it out and being the dumb lady that wasn't watching where she was going, something that would blow over, she is now going to be more famous as being the stupid bitch that didn't watch where she is going and decided that she needed to sue others for her stupidity.

After watching that, it seems like the issue is more that the security video was used than the fact that no one came to her aid, in terms of legal stuff.

Also, if I what I read earlier about this was accurate, she isn't looking to get money, but to have the person that released the security footage to the public punished. Rightly so, in my opinion.

If that's all she is looking for then I am fine with that. Usually someone grabbing a lawyer this quickly is looking for more than that.

I doubt he lawyer is looking at it that way. He is seeing dollar signs (like every other lawyer).

I certainly don't want to rush to her defense... she's an idiot. But to your point - if a person had captured the moment on their phone and uploaded to YouTube, that would be ok in my books. The fact that Mall Security released the video seems a little lower on my acceptable scale.

Her claims are still ridiculous. Perhaps the mall released the footage to catch the person who went swimming in the fountain, when the was probably a "No Swimming" sign posted. Clearly she was trespassing. That claim is equally ridiculous.

My guess is that a lawyer approached her to do it for free in an attempt to get paid. She won't pay, and if she doesn't want any money than that won't pay, but guaranteed that the lawyer is going to get paid as part of any settlement.

Yesterday there was a link on fark saying that now she's "famous," some of her other aspects are coming to public light, such as being charged for theft and fraud for using co-workers credit cards to rack up 5k in charges...

According to the report I heard on the radio this morning, and it is pretty clear on the video, the video that got onto youtube was not released by the mall; rather, one of the security guys used his cell phone to record the monitor on which it was being played back. The report also said that the security guy was fired. From a legal standpoint, I think she's got nothing. This will never go to court. I doubt they'll even file a lawsuit.

Is the video intentionally blurry? Because as far as I can tell, I would not be able to identify the person that fell in the water from that video. Sounds like she just outed herself by pitching a bitch about it. So, if she's embarrassed, she only has herself to blame.

There was a wreck last night and at the top of the hill before it, there were two cop cars in the left lane. It's three lanes each way. As soon as one car got passed those cop cars (it was obvious there was a wreck ahead) he pulled over in that lane. Guess who I saw waiting at the front trying to get in, the same car. I felt sorry for the person having to live like that and let them in. Guess we differ.

The guy was commenting on how stupid people should be treated, I simply kept on topic. I'm very experienced with the stupid. I took OU ML when they played boise state. Only the best betting day of my life other than that plus I did not like hearing Adrian Peterson coming back so I bet heavily Boise plus the points letting me still win money that day. As soon as they put up the line I put money on OU ML, a big part of my gambling bankroll. Then later I heard AP was coming back and I was shocked and concerned. They had all this momentum, why risk it I thought. Maybe I'm the luckiest guy in the world for betting boise after hearing that, I might have to be to win all 6 years I bet.
