As I sit here with a wife who has officially passed her due date, and after a few beers, the realization has hit me. After 31, going on 32 years, my parents were right. Damn them, they were just fucking right. About pretty much everything. Always.

It takes the approach of one of those major life altering events to realize it, but I have a feeling it comes for everyone.
