My google skills are apparently sub-par :(. Does anyone know where I can find coaching staffs for the NFL ? (Particularly 1978, and specifically OC, DC, ST, HC).

Not sure if it has coaching staffs though, but, may be a spring board to finding them.

Yeah I looked there for him too, and didn't look like what he needs. Going to team-specific pages for each year didn't help either beyond getting the head coach.

You were particular in asking about 1978 so if that's really what your only goal is, best bet might be to specifically search for "1978 steelers coaching staff" or "1978 steelers offensive coordinator" and then just repeat for other teams.

Ok, so far this is the closest I've found. Don't even know if this exists for every team though: 1978 San Diego Chargers roster | Fanbase (http://www.fanbase.com/San-Diego-Chargers-1978/roster)

However, I did a very minimal test. I changed the San-Diego-Chargers to Los-Angeles-Rams in the URL and that worked.

Edit: Since the OP is in Michigan: 1978 Detroit Lions roster | Fanbase (http://www.fanbase.com/Detroit-Lions-1978/roster)

Edit 2: Scroll to the bottom of each roster page and the coaches are listed there.

Edit 3: I don't think every coach for every position is listed though. Looks they are added to the list when someone decides to add it.

A coaching draft seems like it could be quite fun.
