A little patience goes a long way, especially with such an open-ended question. You really only gave it 49 minutes?

Check the threads already here. If it weren't fun, there wouldn't be folks posting several years after release. If you want more details, read the existing threads, then post some specific questions.

I'd recommend it. I held off for a while because of the early 90s-looking interface, and because the trial only lasts a preseason or something horribly short. But it's by far the deepest, most interesting Americanfootball sim out there. Lots of stuff to figure out, and MP leagues are fun once you get the hang of a bit of single-player.

Do you play Madden? Do you spend more time messing around in the franchise parts than playing the game? Then buy FOF.

I bought this last fall and I haven't played a game of Madden since and am loving the MP league I'm in. Settle in with SP, then find a league. It truly does make things more interesting and challenging.

I have a question, If I buy it and install it on a PC, can I still download it onto my laptop without buting it again, then keep the save file in a USB drive and swap PC's I run it on?

Yea, the eLicense should give you two installs.

I've never played Madden, but that's some great advice. If you like geeking around with the salary cap and deciding whether to upgrade/rebuild the stadium or pick the gunners on special teams...this would be the game for you.

BTW, I've been playing versions of this game for a long time...you will get tired of football before you get tired of the game.

But in Madden, you can set hotdog prices! NOT SO IN FOF!!!1!

Maximum isn't nearly as deep and doesn't have any where near the online community plating it.
