Funny stuff. Guy gets his laptop stolen, ends up emailing the thief with personal information about the thief. Thief returns laptop expeditiously.

We have a "lo jack" type service on all our laptops at the company I manage IT for. One night, a cleaning guy decided to lift a laptop. We didn't have any evidence until he formatted the hard drive, changed the name of the laptop to his name and got on the internet. At that point, we had all of his information and were waiting for him the next day to come in. He was shocked when we displayed all the information on "his new laptop" on our system and he quickly returned it (and was fired).
Stealing laptops can be a pretty dicey proposition if that owner is smart.
