This debate has taken up 4-5 pages of the college basketball thread so I think a poll is needed.

My sources tell me he's coming to Wyoming. That he wants an "epic challenge."
But you know, those are just my sources. Can't reveal them, though. Sorry.

Waterloo Trout... is that the NBDL?

It is contingent on the NCAA setting for Conference Movement being turned on, though.

Too much talk, Arkansas ftw!

I don't know because I don't have any sources. Unless annonymous message board postings and ravings of delusional alumni are sources. Which they're not, of course, that would just be crazy.

He's going to coach football at Virginia Tech, recruit only from within the state, then come here and whine when he loses.

All of you are being played. Isiah Thomas is going to hire him to coach the Knicks.

So are people all voting Arkansas because of the ESPN story or because every neutral observer on the forums just wants MBBF to be the one that's wrong so we all hope he ends up leaving?

I just think where this is smoke there is fire. I actually think it is about 50/50 but I do think MBBFs confidence about this whole situation is kind of annoying.
Its as if he thinks its Bill Cowher being offered a job with the Winona State Warriors.(D2 NCAA) So I guess yes I do kind of want him to be wrong.

I have no idea. As I said in the college thread, I think it's telling that after he agreed to the Missouri deal and the dollars were done, he didn't remove himself from consideration at Arkansas. He could have ended any of this at any time and chose not to. That tells me he's torn and looking at all his options. . . and that the tie of Arkansas is pretty strong.
I'm guessing Arkansas based off of that.

I hope he goes to coach some small school and leads them to an amazing run in the NCAA tourney, beating both Missouri and Arkansas in upset blowouts.
Then, when it's all over, he and Nolan Richardson take over the Lakers with 48 minutes of hell.

I can't think of a time where I've seen a title and thought to myself before opening "please let there be trout in this poll .... please, please, please".

I dunno, I'm considering voting Arkansas because whenever MBBF uses his "insider knowledge" to talk about something, he's right roughly 10% of the time (rough estimate, I did not do any actual math), so the odds are against whatever MBBF says. But he might still be lucky, this whole thing may just be rumors and nothing is actually going on, so I may just vote Trout.
But I will certainly be one of those laughing uproariously if he goes to Tennessee, NC State, or one of the other open positions besides either Arkansas or Missouri.
Well, you do know he's told the staff he's leaving and signed a contract with the University of Arkansas, right? This thing is over.

He is NOT going to be Alabama's head football coach.

No, handn't seen that at the time, sorry.
I still stand by my reasoning on this one, though.

I think the next Arkansas coach is Dana Altman

An homage to our old pal dextromethorphan or whatever his name was. Great job.

Is it too late to call Mike Anderson coaching the Kansas City Penguins?
