Building a better Fantasy Baseball League - Keeper Rule VOTE and Draft Date

Please vote one how to handle keepers and also post when you want the draft to be. Also include any times it would be impossible for you to draft. I'm aftraid we may not be able to get everyone accomodated, but we'll try our best, even if it means drafting a day or 2 into the season.

I can draft anytime except 8AM-2PM Sunday March 27.

I can only draft on Sunday March 27, alll day. Saturday, would have to start before 3pm(have to be at work at 5pm), during the week I'm free from 2-6pm.

we can also draft here on FOFC, like other leagues have. Would take about a week but at least we wouldn't have to worry about availability. We'd have to institute some kind of availabilty rules - i.e. max 2 hours between picks during the day - and while that may result in some autopicks for some teams, we wouldn't do that for the first 10 or so rounds and it would only mean you may get one or two players auto-drafted for you max rather than your whole team.

Being a rotisserie league, I think it will be easier to start mid-way through the first month if we do it that way.

Just as a guide rhough FOFC hardcore draft will probably finish after about three weeks. I rthink a week is not possible, especially with minor leaguers

The minor league draft can wait. We could hold it mid-season like the actual amateur draft if we had to.

I'd vote for a forum draft, as I can't pinpoint any time where i have a few hours to sit down and pound this thing out.

The other alternative is to pick a date and live with the fact that some people will be in auto-draft hell

I think its best to pick a date that works for most and then others can set lists or find replacements. No time is going to work for everyone at this late point.

OK - gotta make an executive decision

Draft is going to be Saturday April 2 or Sunday April 3, the later the better.

If this is a problem, after 9PM during the week will have to do.

If all of these are out, either we do a forum draft, we accept some people get auto-drafted, or we go 2 weeks into the season.

If this weekend is out, then next will do. Sunday is my preference...after Church is better, so 1 PM Pacific time. It will be my week out of the Audio/Video cycle, so I can go heathen if need be.

Weekend is OK for me. If it ends up during week after 9 PM, I'll auto-draft. Forum draft will be iffy for me, due to weekday access.

All that said, auto-draft may be my best bet given how little I know about WTF I'm doing. :D
