Good first week for the Maulers. Getting Bloomquist in the 16th round was maybe my favorite pick in any of my leagues this year.

Anyone want Mike Pelfrey? I'll sell him for a loaf of bread.

I think my offense took the week off. My pitchers certainly weren't pitching against any of my batters, because they really got lit up.

On the league as a whole. The dearth of talent is tough. I'm not sure if it would be better if we included the AL as well, because then we might have the opposite problem.

We here at Fukushima, are settling to the bottom a bit lower than I had hoped.

Just when I thought I was picking up steam...I get hit with the injury bug. And there is no one out there to pick up the slack. Glad Axford has pretty much figured things out (now the Brewers just have to actually get him in save situations...), so I am not so worried about my relief. But I have been all over the board all year.

So what is the plan for the minor league draft? I assume we don't want to get so far into the season where they are all getting called up and we don't have many decent guys to draft.

Bump. So.....I know at least one of us dropped out of this and there hasn't been much chatter but I hope we can keep this going next year.
