I loved the original FOF, so when I saw the original disk on Ebay I grabbed it. It arrived today and I quickly installed and patched it to 1.0c. However, rather than being classic text-sim heaven, I have run into an issue :( After 1 season the game crashes. I tried once with Expansion Drafts enabled and it crashed immediately after the expansion draft. I then tried running it without expansions and it crashed at the end of the season. I've tried running it in various compatibility modes (I am using XP, tried running in win95 and win98 compatibility modes) to no avail. I figure it's a long shot but if anyone has a suggestion (perhaps this was common back when it came out and there was a known fix at the time?) as to how I might remedy this problem I would greatly appreciate it.
