If it's just a mac satire, that seems a little less than cutting edge (and also, "Simpsons did it"), but if its more human centipede than mac, that would be tremendous. But the preview was funny, either way, I'm looking forward to it.

Guessing they will mock how horrible the product is but show all the Apple fans loving being a centipede.

Yeah, I'll agree w/ that. I haven't read any reviews or anything, but I wonder if that episode is just general commentary or a specific response to the idea that this season has kinda sucked so far and they are saying it doesn't really suck but we're all just too old to enjoy it anymore :P

Maybe I am reading too much into this, but by the end it seemed clear to me that Stan seeing everything as shit was almost totally the consequence of him living through his parents crumbling marriage and subsequent separation.

This is not to say that they didn't flex their standard broad satire muscles to blast a lot of the utter crap that is out there. The movie previews alone were gold.

I don't think "ploy for more money" is quite fair. They were on the Daily Show about a week after that episode, most of the interview was about their Broadway show, but the last episode came up briefly and they said that people came to them all concerned, asking if the show was over, if they were ok, and they say "what? No, we're having a blast doing this, this is our thing, of course we're coming back"

I don't want to speak too soon, but I think the guys regained their passion/touch after all the speculation about them wanting to quit. This half of the season has been great so far. Mantequilla, Stans recovery, and the bro down have been highlights for me. Hoping for an occupy wall street spoof and something riffing on the republican presidential race.

As for those who thought maybe they were getting to wrap things up based on the last episode of the first half of the season, their contract has been extended out to 20 seasons.
