About 5 years ago (wow, has it been 5 years already?) I started The RAW Deal: A Day In The Life Of A DSLR (A Photography Dynasty) (http://operationsports.com/fofc/showthread.php?t=50843&highlight=raw). I put quite a bit of pressure on myself to get some great pics and eventually just burned out. I wanna open up this dynasty to anyone who wants to share their pictures. Have you taken a cool pic you wanna share? Post it here! Post processed pics are a-ok too.

OOps, I got sidetracked and didn't post my pic, lol.

Orange Habanero Soda from ARRR Squeeze (http://arrrsqueeze.com/). I get sharpening happy sometimes especially when I take a semi-blurry pic (like this one) and try to fix it. Still need to work on that.

Coconut Macroons from Sweetish Hill Bakery & Cafe (http://www.sweetishhill.com/index1.html).

Try using something to bounce the light onto them instead of the light directly hitting them.

I like the soda pic the best of the three. I tend to like when you can get the key part of the photo focused really sharp and then fade from there.

Glad to see you're starting this back up again!

Ahhh yeah, I really need to get something like that. I have a lightbox but didn't use it to take the empanada pic. My lightbox is small and I'm looking to make my own at some point with a white background.

Thanks wade! I expect to see some of your work in here ;)

I have some stuff from my trip to Kentucky that I'llt ry to work with.

The advantage to this vs. ABC is the post-processing ;).

You can go to a place like Micheal's and buy one of those white poster boards for super cheap. Does the exact same thing as a bounce board. :D

That's a great idea JediKooter! I'm thinking of buying black and white plexiglass for jewelry pics too.

I posted this on Facebook. Green Smothie made with pineapples, strawberries, honey and spirulina (this is what gives it the green color).

I've always wanted to self teach myself on how to take better photos. I bought a Nikon D5100 just recently and it has been a lot harder than I thought I would be. The camera seems to have 1,000,000 different option on the damn thing ;) It has been fun toying with though...

Here are a couple pictures I took over the weekend of my daughter gardening
