Any opinions welcome. I know there are a ton of threads, but I'm selfish and want input :)

So, here are the players:

LDE Hutchinson 67/67 (4th year) - 63 run, 78 PRT, 88 PRS
LDE Allen 71/71 (11th year) - 73 run, 74 PRT, 76 PRS
(DE backups are mediocre)

LDT Williams 59/59 (12th year) - 60 run, 64 PRT, 70 PRS
RDT Harrell 73/73 (8th year) - 94 run, 53 PRT, 60 PRS
(one good DT backup, 47/47 with balanced bars)

ILB Mayo 57/57 (7th year) - 73 run, 33 PRT, 100 PRS (mediocre other bars)
ILB Bentley 32/32 (13th year) - 58 run, 0 prt, 76 PRS (good play diag, shit vs. pass)
(some decent, balanced backups)

SLB Greenway 57/57 (9th year) - 61 run, 54 PRT, 54 PRS (average other bars)
WLB McIntosh 53/53 (9th year) - 39 run, 84 PRT, 47 PRS
(one backup with 0 run, 84 PRT, 34 PRS, and some other average ones)

If any other information would help, let me know. Figure this type of question needs another thread.

You can pretty much do anything you want with that kind of talent

4-3 if you have the talent unless you have a complete pass rushing monster at WLB.

2 good DT's, 2 good DE's. only 1 good ILB and no olb pass rusher. easy choice 4-3

i too have had to make this choice when i began rebuilding in the dfl. there were equal split among teams that ran the 4-3 and 3-4 so i thought that meant there would be more competition over LB's and less over DT's. so i went with 4-3 since it meant better draft choices and im more comfortable with that scheme

I'm leaning toward 4-3, but the following give me pause to think about 3-4:

First of all, McIntosh/his backup both have 84 PRT, and have produced good results, but are on the downsides of their career and certainly aren't 'elite guys'. Hutchinson actually had a 15 sack year last season (top 3 in league) as a DE in a 3-4.

Also, the WILB spot in the 3-4 I feel like is pretty locked down in terms of I have a good run def guy, but certainly not a stud. Also, the backups at DE blow.

Anyways, appreciate the feedback, seems to be going one way. Awesome help.

How is Williams enjoying his LARK? I say this cause dude is old and probably needs to be put out to pasture.
