I am looking to shift myself back into the world of development. I have chosen the C# / .NET route as I am shifting myself to a M$ world in a lot of the things I do.
For the developers on here..
What are some of the better forums and resources you use to bounce questions off of others or help others?

StackOverflow has always been one of the best. Other than that, I just google my problem/etc. and there have been no shortage of links taking you discussion boards, blogs and documentations.

I pretty much just use google as well.
Agree on Stackoverflow, but http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en/category/netdevelopment and http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/category/visualcsharp are very good as well. Might as well go to the source itself.

Sometimes I feel like I have grown up in a spoiled time - I started programming back in high school (early-2000s) and I cannot imagine doing it without with the aid of something like Google. Got a problem, get 100 practically instantaneous answers!

I started in the early 90s with PASCAL, well, the 80s with BASIC on the C64, but I was just a kid then and wasn't really doing it seriously. I relied on a few people I knew on BBSes to help (*wonders if you know what they were*), but for the most part, I was on my own.
