The 2011 WILC kicks off today. The US plays their first game today.
Edit: Was wrong about the Iroquois Nationals. Hae actually lost a little of the sympathy for the team when I looked further into the situation. Seems like they could have been included in England if they just used their Canadian/American passports.

The Iroquois Nation has actually been in every world championship. They lost in the final in 2003 20-2 to Canada and then in 2007 they lost 15-14 in OT to Canada in the final as well.

Yeah, that's only a story because at the outdoor world championships last summer England refused entry to them with their Iroquois passports and the players refused to use their US and Canadian ones.

Oops, sorry. There was a big ceremony at the NLL all-star game about it and I must have misunderstood what they said about it.

Looks like the USA/Iroquois game was the best one of the first round. Looks like it was a back and forth game.

Knockout Round
Ireland and Slovakia play each other twice to determine 7th and 8th.
USA plays Australia (the winner plays Canada in the Semis)
England plays Czech Republic (winner plays Iroqois Nationals in the Semis)
Canada and Iroquois Nationals have a bye.
Canada had the best draw. USA, Iroqois Nationals and Canada are the top three teams. Canada had three cream puffs in their pool. (their 81-8 first round goal differential says it all)
