Been a while since I fiddled with this stuff... but if you are using batch files (tangent: I can't believe we're still forced to do this kind of shit to make this game work reasonably in 2011 for crying out loud) that's likely your problem. I think this stuff is saved in one of the files (frfoot.fgr maybe?) that is likely getting batched in and overwritten when you start up FOF.

I think the way to solve this problem is to save these settings in-game and to then manually place the newly created frfoot.fgr file into the source location that your batch files copy from, if that description makes sense.

quik, thanks much for the reply....

i don't use batch files. i just copy and paste the universe files, when i switch leagues.....

when i save the settings in-game, where does the newly created fgr file go? where can i get it....?

Pretty sure when you save your SP game with new settings, there will be a new frfoot.fgr file created in the "universe" directory, whose location depends on your operating system, I guess. Were it me, I'd probably save my game with new graphics options, and then do a search for a file with a .fgr extension -- that ought to tell you where to find it.

What I do, cause I always forget which file it is, is modify the color scheme, save the game (very important), and look in the universe folder for the last modified file. Whichever it is, I then move to my batch folders (cause else it will get erased).
