Why did jim design the game so that you really can't call your own play while playing the game? You basically have to commish sim the game and even then, you can't really play multiplayer.

is the whole point of TCY is that it was designed to be a develemental process (just like the NCAA) for FOF?

Why did jim design the game so that you really can't call your own play while playing the game?Likely because when it was designed, the great majority of the people who play FOF and TCY didn't have much interest in calling their own plays. And in the ~10 years since then, I don't think that has changed all that much.

ok, I can see your point, but since the game is estentially solitare, it would be kinda nice to actually coach your own team while on the feild. Its a great game, but it baffeles me why Jim didn't at least design that in it. Oh well.
