Ok, I've got a TON of notes for a new class I'm teaching, but they are in Microsoft Word format. I know there is an easy way to send them to powerpoint (with the send---powerpoint) from Word. But when I do, the formatting gets all messed up, and the slide looks like shit. Anyone want to give it a shot? Or know any tricks? I can email you the document.

It takes a lot longer, but I always cut/paste so I can get the slides to look exactly the way I want.

Yeah, that's what I think I may end up doing. I was hoping it would be easy.

I spent a lot of time during the past three years writing manuals and then making them into PowerPoint presentations. Copy, paste and reformat is the fastest way in the long run. You will always want to delete and highlight on the Power Point slides and that messes up any formatting the slides may have brought from another sources.
