Last week, I had a home game and a cup game... I had 160K revenue and 165K expenses(bought a guy for 50K), so I lost 5K..
This week, I only had a friendly, and my revenue is 70K, while my expenses were 119K, for a loss close to 50K.
I've been losing money every week, except for the last week of last season, since the team I took over for finished 4th, and got a 60K bonus.
I still have a 7000 seat stadium, and I currently have 630 supporters. I need to start making a profit, since I will be down to 175K after this week.
A stadium upgrade would cost around 300-350K, so I would be in debt. Is this the only way to go? Or is there another way? Or would upgrading my stadium not even do that much?
Thanks!

Those crazy canadian funds.....lets see....Yes you should upgrade your stadium....I would suggest going to 14,000ish seats...I did this and now the money I get from a sellout home game is = to 2 weeks of expenses so that I will break even....it put me in debt but currect I am only at $77 US Dollars in the red.

I've made $177,000 in revenue this week and I'm still -$227,000 in debt.

You might consider reading Brillig's thread and considering your options BEFORE going ahead with stadium upgrade. In the end, it MAY be your best option. But it is worth considering. Of course, if you have a player who can be sold to fund your stadium upgrade [as Horned mentioned in that thread], then upgrading is a BIG yes.

My apologies if you have already done this, but folks with debt above the magical and mystical $200 000 mark [$400 000 for 'em wacky canookians] should hire a 2nd economist.

Oh, yeah. Been there, doing that, hawked the t-shirt already.
Maybe not the whole $177 000 revenue part. But the other part, though . . .

I've heard that it isn't worth even hiring one economist until your debt hits 200k. Are you sure about getting a second one?
