The NCAA Division 1 introduced a new conference for basketball only today.. the Greater Wichita Athletic League. The commissioner of the league is Mike Schaplowsky. With this being the only sport that the GWAL plays, commissioner Schaplowsky is doing something unprecedented: He alone is making all the coaching decisions for the league. "I want this league to be as good as the Pac Ten, Big East, Big Ten, and all the other big leagues, so I alone will hire and fire the coaches."

The GWAL has 9 schools, and here they are:

Bishop Carroll
Wichita East
Wichita Heights
Kapaun Mt. Carmel
Wichita North
Wichita Northwest
Wichita South
Wichita Southeast
Wichita West

As of now, the NCAA has not decided which prestige the school will be, but based on their recent domination of NAIA basketball, in which the GWAL has won the last 4 titles in a row, it is presumed that the GWAL will be a prestige 4 or 5 conference, but could be a prestige 3.

I'd actually say a 1 prestige, maybe 2. NAIA isn't even D-III.

House rules for this are that the 9 schools in the GWAL will be randomized when it comes to prestige. As a matter of fact, the entire NCAA will, which means don't be surprised to see a team like Penn win the NCAA title. I want this to be totally random. I'm still debating, I don't think I'll have the GWAL be a prestige 5. I'm looking at a starting prestige of 3 or 4. I manually added this league, so if the game can handle it, I'm in good shape. If not, I'll just replace one of the other leagues in the game with this league. I did not make any other conference movements, such as Nebraska to the Big Ten or Utah or Colorado to the Pac Ten, because I don't want to do too much. Hope everybody enjoys this.

I was thinking that, but I didn't know if people would be interested in coaching in a conference with a prestige of 1, or 2. Thanks for the comments Izlude.
