My best friend, who lives in the San Diego area, says they'll be without power until tonight or sometime tomorrow.

Hate this for the restaurants and the grocery stores.

Hope all our San Diego area FOFCers are holding up.

Yeah, just got a call from my mother. It appears to have hit Arizona and Mexico as well. I don't know what it means if a transmitter line is severed, but that is the story I am hearing so far.

Yeah, evidently the east line went down, which overtaxed the system and caused the north line to crash.
