Come on. It'd be like if the Bills hit the Super Bowl this year, and nobody brought up those 4 in a row they seemed to loose in. It's just history, and frankly, good comedy. Thing is, the success the Bills had, it's only a head scratching chuckle. For the Bengals, it's a failure of 'The Titanic' proportions, and therefore worthy of a full blown belly laugh.
There have been reports on the news, that a man on the West Side, actually died last year, as a result of asphyxiation. He laughed so hard, he couldn't supply his brain with oxygen, and died. Thankfully, in a medical miracle, the man identified as Mike Brown, was brought from the dead, and is again running the draft. Doctors are monitoring his laughter very closely this year, especially around the first round.

Yea because lord knows the Bengals haven't done anything over the years to warrant being poked fun at.

I can't believe they haven't had more stories on how horrific the Nuggets are. I'd probably enjoy reading some of them. :)
Sorry Shorty, when you're the fan of a team like the Bungles, Nuggets, Clippers, Cardinals or Tigers. . . you just have to deal with the backlash.
Cmon, even you have to admit some of the moves have been immensely funny over the years.
I'm just glad the NBA instituted a rule saying you couldn't trade two consecutive first round picks. If they hadn't the Nuggets would be shipping their 2046 pick to the Lakers so they could draft Chris Simms and convert him to a small forward. Ahhh. . . the life of a Nugget fan. :)

Troy, Shorty is young and impressionable. He takes these things personally. :D

I'm cursed. Other than the Colts, I like the Bengals. If the Colts left Indy (which I still think they will someday) then I'll be getting season tickets to them, but until they put together a decent season, they'll get these types of attacks.
Besides, go back to the mid-90s. The Bengals were bad, but not far removed from greatness. The Colts were horrible and the butt of jokes all the time. C-O-L-T-S meant Count On Losing This Sunday. I'm hopeful Lewis can turn this around for them.

***Colts=Count on Losing This Sunday****
Hmmm, what are some other analogies for sucky teams. I'll give the Nuggets a try.
Never Utilize Great Gumption: Expect To Suck.
Cut me some slack, I only had a few minutes. :)

Continue Losing. It's Possibly a Patriotic Endevour. Rue Sterling.

It would be nice if the Colts did move. Then we could have another mall or some townhouses built where the RCA Dome is.
Now that the Bengals have taken Palmer, there's only one question left...
Will he be a bust or will he have a career ending injury? :D

This is a little late but, why blame ESPN when obviously it is God that hates the Bengals. ;)

Damn liberal media. Thank God I can still tune into Fox News for fair and balanced Bengals coverage!

I think Indianapolis should pick a new name, and give the Colts name back to Baltimore. Arizona should give the Cardinals name back to St. Louis (if they want it...) and pick a more geographically relevant mascot (there are no cardinals in Arizona).
Don't blame the media for picking on the Bengals. They suck. They've defined the whole concept of "suck" for years. When they cease to suck, they'll cease to be picked on. Period.

I'm starting to get annoyed with the Colts actually. The fans there really aren't football fans. Go to a Bengals game, and they just seem to understand football better. It's a totally different atmosphere (not to mention the stadium is a lot better)
After reading the report about revamping the Rose Bowl, I'm convinced the Colts are the ones to move. They are going to do a 9 month study on the impact of the renovation on the environment then construction will take another 10-12 months. Figure things get done, late 2005, early 2006. Hmm, Colts lease is up in 2006. Imagine that.
And God doesn't hate the Bengals. Just Mike Brown.

Don't bet on it... the Chargers wanna move out of San Diego pretty bad, too... and have already made arrangements to get out of their least at the 'Murph...
