Just finished making the changes to my CSV file for 2011, using parts of the FOF update and my own files. Thought I'd upload them for anyone interested in using them. Same as my 2010 file, is that I hate computer created free agents, so I have left some of the older stars in the game (W. Sapp, K. Warner...) with the idea that the computer will use them instead of the fake free agents, until I upload a draft file at the end of the year. Some of them are assigned to teams and there are alot of free agents. Also like the stars of the past to make my "Hall of Fame".
Again, not putting this up here to get roasted by my ratings, or to tell me I am missing one player from team x. I have gotten alot from this forum and thought I'd give back. So use them if you like, about 50% of the players have full ratings and the development is higher as I believe this helps the young stars of tomorrow get in the game faster and become stars.

Same problem here...
Also, if I wanted to remove some of the older FA's, how do I do that? Is it simply deleting them from the excel file?

In the FOF file, there is an Playerfile application, that lets you convert the csv file into the fdt needed to run the game. If you want to take some of the older players out, just delete them from the csv file.

Millhousebe, thanks for this. Seems easy to edit the .csv but it is not clear what the columns are for? Can you assist?

I haven't examined each team too closely yet, but the FA's seem SEVERLY overrated.
What's the easiest way to tone this down in the csv file?
Also, I noticed that in the csv readme, it says that if you have a player file of more than 1750 players, you need to tone certain things down in the roster to keep from too many superstars appearing, etc. Not sure if you were aware of that and thought that perhaps that was causing the FA's to be overrated.

Looking through the .csv file, it seems birth years are odd for some folks.
Only looking at a few just on Arizona and I see Warner born in 1960 (why is he even on the team?), Beanie Wells born in 1970?
Am I seeing this correctly? I might be wrong.

Ok, well the player years come out ok when you actually created a game...not sure why the .csv has it differently. Weird.
Now my question is, I went through and deleted some FA's from the .csv, like Favre, Moss, etc., and when I create the game, they're still FA's!
I do get some weird message when trying to save the .csv in regards to formatting. I'm using Excel 2010.
Anyone know why this is happening?

Ok, another update:
I wasn't remembering to take the .csv file and convert it for the file type that the game needs via the converter. I did that, horray!
Now though, indeed the years are totally wrong for a lot of guys like I mentioned about Warner and Beanie Wells being born in 1960 and 1970 respectively.
Not sure how this got messed up, but perhaps the OP is at least aware now? Maybe it's something I did?
Of course, the FA's I deleted are indeed gone now which is nice...just the stupid year of birth are wrong for what I imagine are a ton of players.

Must be something you have done while editing the file. I have Warner born in 1971 on Wells in 1988.

Is there anyway I can make it so that when it starts up all the rookies aren't already super stars?
I love the rosters, I just think there has to be some way so that players who have never done anything or late round rookies wouldn't already be stars.

Column W impacts overall rating
Column X impacts overall development

Dola, I was looking at the roster file and where are all the rookies - Patrick Peterson, Cam Newton, etc?
Edit: Nevermind, in the file you get off rapidshare they are in there.

Hey guys,
My computer went belly up this past week, and I did not have my files backed up. I was wondering if anyone had my verison of the CSV format of the 2011 roster file on their computer still. I know it was a little ratings heavy, but I put hours apon hours creating it, and would like to have a copy. If so, can you email it to
[email protected]
Much thanks in advance

Hi, I am new to FOF 2007 and I was wondering if someone might email me a copy this 2011 roster file? The download link appears to be a dead link. My email is:
